IBM partnered with Ogilvy to launch PureSystems, which would be a game changer in the IT industry. PureSystems is a suite of data center building blocks, aiming to offer integrated systems to automate maintenance, anticipate computing requirements, and scale servers, storage and networking resources as needed. Ogilvy created an integrated campaign for the launch, including a landing page within IBM.com and a tablet app for IBM sales reps.
I was part of the user experience team for all of the campaign's digital pieces, partnered with a content strategist and digital strategist. My responsibilities included requirements gathering, site maps, eco-system research, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
I created a map of the ecosystem for the campaign launch, so that we could get a birds eye view of what the experience would include and what media would drive to it.
I created wireframes and an interactive prototype of the PureSystems landing page which would live on ibm.com.
We wanted the tablet app to be as innovative as the product IBM was launching, and flexible enough to evolve throughout the product life cycle. We strived to design an experience that could be personalized and customized for multiple target audiences.
