More Work

Oldies but goodies.

Fly NetJets

NetJets has the largest private jet fleet in the world, and offers fractional ownership and leases on their jets. They wanted to improve their booking experience (currently done mostly over the phone), by creating a mobile and tablet app for their customers. Their ad agency, Havas, hired me as a freelance UX director to oversee the project.

IBM PureSystems

IBM partnered with Ogilvy (where I landed my first UX job) to launch PureSystems, which provided hardware, software, and cloud solutions for businesses. I worked on the integrated campaign for the launch, including a landing page within IBM.com and a tablet app for IBM sales reps. More on this project here.

IKEA Share Space

Share Space allows people to share how their IKEA furniture looks in their own home. It's like a user generate IKEA catalog. Users can upload rooms, tag IKEA products in them, and browse other rooms for inspiration. My responsibilities were creating a sitemap, userflows, reward systems research, wireframes and the functional specification.

Side Project: Freshly

I always feel lucky when I arrive at my local bakery right when the chocolate muffins are still warm from the oven. Thus came the inspiration for Freshly, an app that gives you a new way to look at everything you eat: freshness first. It can tell you when your favorite sushi restaurant has fish delivered, when the local coffee shop roasts beans, or where to find a farmers market to buy fresh produce. It combines posts from local businesses, data sets from NYC Open Data, and the google maps api to let users accurately know what's freshest.

Side Project: DigiDJ

The DigiDJ app was born from a Foursquare Hackathon I participated in. It’s a mashup of three APIs, allowing you to check-in to a venue with Foursquare, queue up songs from Spotify to send to the venue’s playlist, and bid favorite songs up the list with Venmo. In short, it’s a digital, crowd-sourced playlist. I worked with 3 developers to create a native iOS and Android app in less than 36 hours. We didn't take home the Grand Prize, but we did win People's Choice!
